It gives me great pleasure to felicitate the management of PEBS Hospital on the completion of yet another eventful year. Being associated with the Free Dialysis Unit has been a spiritually rewarding and satisfying experience for the past three years. Most of the non-affording who register for dialysis are already in a difficult situation. I shall vouch that once the patients are registered, the professional team of the hospital provides excellent care.

In March 2023, the Oral Cancer Surgery Unit commenced its free service. More than 100 surgeries have been performed, and the patients’ pain from this dreadful disease has been reduced to a marginal extent. Dialysis patients who have to undergo this treatment are being taken care of by the team. It is heartening to see that corneal transplants are being successfully performed and have become a regular feature, bringing the joy of sight to the blind. My high commendations and best wishes to the PEBS team.

I am also highly impressed by another regular feature of PEBS, i.e., medical camps in remote areas. The PEBS team has a deep understanding of the misery of people living in areas where medical treatment is either substandard or does not exist. The regular medical camps of PEBS have eased the health burden of the underprivileged class to a great extent. I would like to thank PEBS for their philanthropic work in the health sector and wish them continued success in the years to come.
